2023 LEAD Summit Presents: DiSC Assessment

The 2023 CPSDA LEAD curriculum will be focused on improving your ability to understand the behavioral tendencies of yourself and your staff, in order to maximize your capacity to work effectively as a leader and within your team.  This year's workshop will utilize the DiSC profile - the #1 behavioral assessment tool utilized in Fortune 500 companies. Attendees will complete the DiSC assessment, take a deep dive with Cathy Wright-Eger, Director of the John R. Wooden Leadership Institute for Purdue University’s student-athletes and coaches. Cathy is a certified Professional Behaviorist and administers the DiSC assessment to the teams, coaches, support staff and administration. Cathy then assesses the strengths and weaknesses of the team or staff and creates exercises, conducts conversations and facilitates activities to improve the overall culture. Attendees will also have the opportunity to use the DiSC assessment with their staff after the workshop. In addition to the in-person workshop, attendees will participate in three follow-up webinar to ensure activation and facilitation of applying the skills gained during the in-person workshop.

DiSC Profiles help you and your team:

· Increase your self-knowledge: how you respond to conflict, what motivates you, what causes you stress, and how you solve problems

· Improve working relationships by recognizing the communication needs of team members within your staff

· Facilitate better teamwork and teach productive conflict

· Develop stronger sales skills by identifying and responding to administrator and athlete personalities

· Manage more effectively by understanding the dispositions and priorities of your staff

Attendees will be required to:
